Turf Sports Management was established in 2002 with an aim to provide quality coaching and multi-faceted exposure to the budding cricketers. Our first academy was set up at the prestigious Modern School, Barakhamba Road in 2003, and later at Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce and Jamia Hamdard University.

Our academies have been highly successful, both in terms of the number of the players who have gone ahead to represent the state & country and the number of titles won by the educational institutes where the academies are established.

From 2003, the number of titles won by the Modern School, Barakhamba Road Cricket Team remains unmatched in the Country. The school was undefeated in the year 2016-17as well and went on to win 6 of the biggest tournaments organized for schools later on.

In 2012-13, when Delhi won the prestigious Vijay Hazare Trophy under the Captaincy of Modern School’s alumni Rajat Bhatia, 6 out of the 11 playing members were the Turf Academy's trainees and alumni of Modern School. Amongst the rest, there was another player who was also a trainee of Turf Academy, but he was not the Alumni of the Modern School. So, in total, 7 out of the 11 playing members of the prestigious First Class One Day Championship winning team were Turf Academy’s trainees. It was surely an astounding feat by any measure.

In the present season, we have the following Modern School Students playing Ranji Trophy:

• For Delhi:  GautamGambhir, Unmukt Chand, Dhruv Shorey, Manan Sharma, Milind Kumar & Himmat Singh
• For UP:  Eklavya Diwedi and Samarth Singh
• For Punjab: Mayank Sidana

Some of the trainees at the Academy who have represented the state or have been selected for the IPL in the Last few Years –

Ranji Trophy / India under 19 / IPL / under 25:

• Rajat Bhatia – Delhi & Rajasthan Ranji, KKR, Rajasthan Royals and presently Rising Pune Super Giants in the IPL 2016.
• Unmukt Chand – India Under 19 Captain, Delhi Ranji & Mumbai Indians 2016
• Eklavya Dewivedi – UP Ranji & Gujrat Lions in the IPL 2016.
• Manan Sharma – Delhi Ranji, Former India U19 and Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2016
• Vikas Tokas – Delhi Ranji & presently Royal Challengers Banagalore in the IPL 2016
• Dhruv Shorey – Delhi Ranji
• Milind Kumar – Delhi Ranji
• Himmat Singh – Delhi U19 Captain and Delhi Ranji
